I do not understand how you do this…

    It’s magic. 🙂

Actually, the design team provides the 3D mesh file form SolidWorks – the tool they use to design our products. (It’s an amazing product, but is not intended to produce photorealism.) I then import the 3D file into my favorite 3D application – Cinema4D. I use the Corona Render for C4D plugin, so I apply Corona lights and materials to the scene and render. It sounds pretty simple, and for me it is, but that’s because I have almost 20 years experience with 3D software and even more experience with photography, which plays a major role in my lighting and compositions.

I can’t tell you how satisfying this work is. I just sit here is awe all day in awe watching these amazing images appear on my 5K display.

I can’t even imagine. Yes, you have the perfect job for you. And, not it doesn’t sound simple! Not in the least. You continue to amaze me with your knowledge and artistic ability. Who knew, 40+ years ago, that this is what you’d be doing for a living.

I never realized this company designs so many products so quickly.

Another beautiful shot. Of course, you’re amazing! “Pretty simple”???

    Maybe with your brains.
