Kelly and I LOVE the Big Lebowski. Jeff Bridges’ portrayal of the Dude is an all-time classic, and made us Jeff Bridges/Coen Brothers fans for life. Some of you will have noticed my link to a great Jeff Lebowski web site created by a fan in Germany. Other Lebowski fans should also check out Jeff Bridges’ personal web site. (By the way, I should mention that I owned thedude.com two years before the movie came out, so please don’t flame me.)
It turns out that Jeff Lebowski is based on a real character. And, he’s hosting a Lebowski Fest! Before you get too excited, I must tell you that the event is completely sold out. Evidently, 550 fans are attending from out of state!

Yes, I knew of the event, but not until it was already sold out. 🙁
