We’re a long way from the truly spectacular Milwaukee Art Museum, but not all that far from another beautiful Santiago Calatravo design. The Sundial Bridge is a gorgeous and unexpected treasure in Redding, California.
When did you guys go, we went on sunday too….it was beautiful but I think I got wind burn going across…lol
We went on Saturday when it was warmer and less windy. I hear it was crowded on Sunday, sounds like everyone but us went!
I have yet to see our Calatrava open and close. I’ll make it downtown one of these days. I have been inside of it and it is indeed a treasure with beautiful views of the lake.
When did you go on Saturday? That was Mary’s ceremony?
To Jill – we went before the ceremony; after crepes and before the country club.
Thanks for the tip-we hit the bridge on sunday morning before heading out-such a nice surprise and perfectly beautiful weather. Lovely meeting you and the whole family….thank you for letting me be a part of Mary’s celebration.
When I was in Jerusalem I saw a walking bridge and and I knew right away who had designed it!
