By that I mean that my day off was more work than a day at the office. I had to learn more than I cared to about gas lines, brass nipples and joint sealer to install our new dishwasher, fume hood, backsplash and Viking range. But, after three trips to the hardware store and nearly 12 hours of work, I think the results speak for themselves.
We boiled our first pot of water on it this morning. Kelly is ecstatic. 🙂
I always knew you were a ‘hardware’ guy. But didn’t know that extended to the kitchen! Shit, if you weren’t married to the Kellster, I’d marry you myself!
Looks FAB!

No comment on the “brass nipples”….:-)
Brass nipples. Huh huh huh huh ….
I’m impressed, but do you think that was work?!?!?! While you were installing your appliances I was cutting down a tree! Actually, Bob did the bit with the chain saw, the boys and I hauled the brush…. I’m still ‘paying’ for it. Ouch! :-0
