Pai

Our three hour drive to Pai was beautiful – for most of us. It turns out that poor Ben is highly susceptible to car sickness. Luckily, we finished the drive without incident and were completely thrilled by what we found that the Muang Pai Resort. The place is beautiful – even in the middle of the dry season.

Soon after we arrived, we drove into Pai and really did surprise our friend Eric at his Happy Yim Restaurant. He claims that we are the first friends from the states to pay him a visit.

Well, I have much more to say, and many more images to post, but with just a few hours left in Thailand, I’d better get out of this internet cafe. I think I just saw Ben and Kelly take off with the last of our cash… 🙂

See you all soon!

Wow, another slice of Eden. Oakland is going to seem very grey when you get back. We will have to find some ways of brightening it up for you.
Ben and the Kellster look pretty hot as biker-bitches.

Hey! Those girls aren’t wearing HELMETS!!!!!

Ha, ha…..I knew Kelly would get a kick out of that…..:-)

Helmets are actually required in Thailand, but like many other laws, the helmet law is rarely enforced.

HELMETS? We don’t need no stinkin helmets!

You’d also love seeing me ride side saddle with NO helmet! We are tough (or stoopid, depending upon how your view it) chicks in Thailand. FYI – only the driver is required to wear a helmet…

I sent this URL to Eric in Pai, so he will have a look soon. Bill Dalton and his Indonesian wife will arrive in Chiang Mai today, to see Joe and Chris, and will then head up to Pai! Small world, after all.
