I finally had the perfect excuse to try out Lightroom’s Tethered Capture. I’ve been anxious to try this since neighbor Steve Fossum used this method to photograph yours truly.
This extremely simple rig made shooting the chip much easier than ever before. The ability to view the images at high resolution on-screen as I shot them proved to be more than just a time-saver. It also enabled me to see that my Nikkor 60mm Micro lens performs better at f20 than at f40, and triggering the camera from the computer likely reduced vibrations.
I can’t wait for another opportunity to use this very cool Lightroom feature!
Did u shoot that in ur shower?
Ha! No, but I did use a piece of wet slate as the background.
I’m so glad you had a perfectly wonderful geeky weekend. 🙂
