A three block long line at the ferry was giving us second thoughts about our plan to go to the city to see the Blue Angels. We were about to pack it in when Kelly suggested we try to get on the sold-out Potomac for what we heard is absolute best view of the show. As luck would have it, there were two cancellations, and we were aboard for a spectacular afternoon on the San Francisco Bay!
We’ve seen these pilots perform several times, but the show still gives us goose bumps. The sound, the power and the ridiculously precise formations are awe-inspiring.
Wow, incredible photos!
As per usual, your Blue Angels shots are amazing. For some reason, I really like that fisheye shot on the Potomac the best….go figure. I was on that ship once…very nice. I do miss working in SF and going up to our rooftop to check out the flying. Also, what female type person could forget the streets of Fleet Week….”I love a man in uniform”. LOL
Amazing photos. We saw them this summer in a torrential rain storm. What an incredible display.
