Kelly’s high school friend Steve “The Laminator” Billings and his lovely companion Debra visited tonight. I was a bit intimidated at first ‘cuz Kelly hinted that Steve might be “even cooler than I am.” Whoa! And so, to make sure that at least the dinner was a success, we opted for the best restaurant within four blocks of our loft – Soizic. (Where else?)

As I had hoped, both the food and the company were fabulous. It turns out that we’re all too cool for school. We can’t wait to see Steve and Debra again! Next time we meet, it will be in Santa Rosa… maybe at a comedy show…(?)
