I have been evaluating Opera and I am coming to the conclusion that it’s the world’s best browser. The program looks and feels identical on Windows and on Linux. It’s very fast. It’s e-mail integration is sweet – Opera replaces both Mozilla and my usual mail client – and you already know how much I love tabbed-browsing, now included in Opera. One important thing to note is that Opera’s tabbed-browsing is significantly better than Mozilla’s. Try it for a while, and you’ll see why. The Opera team have given a lot of though to navigation. You can navigate entirely with keyboard commands, or at the other extreme, with mouse gestures – the most natural human-computer interface I have ever used.
