I found an inexpensive MOV to FLV converter which produces pretty decent results. The files are much smaller that the source Quicktime files, and still have much of the quality – even at large sizes. This means I can now stream video like this time-lapse of my commute to work directly from thedude.com. New possibilities!
what happened to the Kelster……she disapeared
I dropped her off at work. Watch closely in the first dark tunnel.
By the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Ed!!!
Very cool! More!

“The car went beep, beep, beep.” Cool video dude!
What was the software you used?
I shot the sequence with a Nikon D3. I used Graphic Converter on my wife’s iMac to assemble the images into a Quicktime movie, and Flix Standard FLV converter to convert the .MOV to .FLV.
Dear Dude – I watched your commute to work with great interest and great concern for your driving technique. It may be a Smart car but … But certainly a cool bit of streaming video.
