I’ve really enjoyed my four-year-long love affair with the Nikon D3, and I have absolutely no regrets. She has served me well. I will always appreciate her superb build, her heft, her ability to see so much in so little light. I still love her and plan to keep her around – forever. But honestly, I’ve been waiting a long time for a chance to get my hands around something slimmer and slathered in hot pixel sauce. Meet my new mistress.
This beauty sports thirty-freakin’-six megapixels baby. Until today, I would have had to pay a lot more for this sort of resolution. Now, it’s available in the smallest, sexiest package ever.
Some of you will say that tossing 75 megapixels of RAW goodness into my workflow will be too much for my lowly quad-core pee see and that I’ll have to upgrade to a more respectable Mac Pro with a couple dozen smokin’ cores. To this I say, “It’s about time!”
I’m so excited! April can’t come soon enough.
Wow! I am so jealous! The test shots to check her limitations will fun by itself. Congrats!!
Yours is now definitely bigger than mine now. Size DOES matter.
U didn’t! Try not 2 lv this 1 in an unlocked kar!
I will cherish this beauty. I promise. I just hope she lives up to the hype, which is pretty impressive.
36 megapixels!! 36? Wow-that’s ridiculous (in a good way). I hope Kelly doesn’t get jealous.
Glad you’re blogging again, but I keep wanting to hit the “like” button… I’ll take your lowly quad-core, when you upgrade. 😉 I could really kick some ass with that! BTW – I agree with Grant.
Thanks, Cindy. You inspired me to add a Facebook “Like” button to my pages. Now, let’s see how it works. Go ahead – click the little button! 🙂
Oh yeah!!!!!
You’re using the same code I am on the FHAC web site. I can not get the tag to center in the table…suggestions?
“Dudeintosh” ?
