We decided we had had it with the white tile and grimy grout. We decided to go in a completely different direction. We think it was a good decision. I can’t decide what I like most, the fabulous shower or the speakers in the ceiling. 🙂
The mood around here is definitely up-beat. Turns out we all love the bathroom, except of course, the birds, who are totally mortified by this new dark space. Ahh… Life is good.

Wow! Looks Great
Fabulous!! Was the old shower that big or did you have to take out a wall?
We did not change the size of anything or move any walls. The shower probably just looks big because of the wide angle lens. 🙂
It looks fabulous!
It looks fantastic! I can’t wait to get in there and mess it up.
Is that the same tile as in the kitchen!
No, the tile in the kitchen is man-made, and easier to clean. 🙂
It looks like a 5 star hotel suite.
What a nice comment, Grant! We love it too!
Yeows – what a change!! Great job!!
But where do you hang your towels, dude?
Hah! Good question. Actually, we’re waiting for the towel bars to come in. 🙂
A fabulous bathroom and new washer/dryer to boot! Nice going!
Oh – and the washer and dryer are amazing. We really hated to spend the money, but our clothes have never been cleaner. Thumbs up on the front-loader.
The slate looks great! We used almost the identical stuff in our kitchen and love it!
How great that you can be on the poo-pot and have a relaxing conversation with someone doing laundry and/or showering! (tee hee)
Ah yes, the front loading machine….Jill LOVES hers too! Looks fabulous…maybe the twirps need a couple blindfolds….LOL
Looks great, really warm and inviting. Are those tungsten lights? They seem too bright and warm to be CFL.
Oh ya. Low-voltage halogens. Dimmable. Nice. 🙂
Looks incredible. You guys have the very best design sense! Two questions: 1. Did you keep that really KEWL glass shelf above the toilet? 2. What did you use the make the image show both?
love you guys…. Bruce
