Wow. It’s hard to believe, but true. Fifty big ones.
We celebrated the auspicious event at the Conga Lounge. (Where else?) A few dozen of our best friends and coworkers, a few pizzas, mai tai’s and a delicious German chocolate birthday cake at our favorite tiki bar. Perfect.
I was busy pressing the flesh and handing out drink tickets, so I didn’t get much time to take pictures. Fortunately, my friends Mark Downey and Grant grabbed a few shots. Looks like everyone had a great time. I know I certainly did. 🙂
Thanks to my awesome wife Kelly and to all of my wonderful friends for making this my best 50th birthday party EVER!
Oh my gersh…..fifty whole years….it just proves that a life of decadence and debauchery goes a long way. I’m thrilled that you had MY favorite (year after year) cake…but I don’t know if it could top “Dort’s” homemade 3 layer job. Wish I could have been there!

Well, I hate to say it, but the German Chocolate cake I bought was the best one I’ve ever had! It does beat Mom’s cake, mostly because there was plenty of frosting to cover the entire cake plus they put chocolate fudge frosting on the sides and it was incredibly moist. Yum! We are still eating it. I bought it on a recommendation from the East Bay Express. It was from a place called “It’s All Good Bakery” under the BART tracks on MLK Jr. St. Sorry you missed it!
Holly Crap we had a good time meeting all these folks we’ve only read about in the Blog. Although now that I think about they probably thought we we’re stalkers!
Looks like everyone had a great time. Wish I could have been there. Happy Belated Birthday Dude! Can’t wait to see you both in October!
