The dude did a tough 6-mile hike (roundtrip) up to this spot! A trooper all the way. By the way, that mountain on the left side of Cascade Canyon (Mt. Owen, 12,900′) is amost 6000′ vertical feet above the spot where Jim took the pic and the peak is only 1 mile (as a bird flies) from this spot. This canyon is almost 1000′ feet deeper than the Grand Canyon.
