Chris knows this part of the world like the back of his hand, so he took us to several of his favorite spots. He led us on a few short hikes and one very long one. (More on that later.) We drove up Shadow Mountain, (Google Earth Placemark) and back down to Jenny Lake for a dip in the cold clear water. We visited the original Bar B C Ranch and saw the cabin where Chris' dad was born.

Isn't Jenny Lake one of the most beautiful lakes you have ever seen? You're so lucky to have your own personal tour guide.
What's going to happen to that wonderful old cabin? Will it be torn down when they develop that site? Hope not.

Those pictures are absolutely gorgeous, as per usual. That lake looks wonderfully inviting....when's the next flight out? Chris' dad sounds like an interesting character, where can I find out more about him?
