I don’t know how long this rematser has been available, but it’s incredible. Headphone material for sure. Turn it up!
I didn’t know that you could listen to music for free. Thanks.
Yes, and you can upload your entire music collection (up to 50,000 songs, I believe) for FREE.
“My” music was on the server. The drive failed. I’ve been able to recover a lot of stuff but not that. Still working on it. 🙁
Boot it with a Linux CD distro, mount the failed disk, recover files. Piece o’ piss!
Not sure which utility on this page will work the best. Don’t have a Linux CD Distro…..
They should all work. I like Knoppix – full-featured Linux distro. I’ve rescued many Winblows machines with it. I don’t think there was ever a drive that I could not recover files from.
OK – I will give that a try. Cross your fingers.
I took a look at a few of the tools listed on that page, and still believe Knoppix is your best choice.
Instructions for making a bootable USB key here:
OK, I’ve been able to load Knoppix/Linux off of the USB drive. Do I have to do anything so that Linux sees the drive, like I do in Windows, or is Linux magical? 🙂
Listening to this again. WOW.
