Yes, I’m still taking pictures, and Kelly is still volunteering at Xenophon, where we get to hang out with the nicest imaginable kids, horses and volunteers. Wonderful.

With its 27 inch LED display, this could be the hardware that finally makes me do it. Wow!

Fall Colors in Wisconsin

Thanks, Dave for sending this shot of Lori & Pat’s tree. What’s that then, a maple? Is this tree in Lyons, Wisconsin? Who are Lori and Pat?

Colorful Wisconsin tree.

The New Bathroom

We decided we had had it with the white tile and grimy grout. We decided to go in a completely different direction. We think it was a good decision. I can’t decide what I like most, the fabulous shower or the speakers in the ceiling. :)

The mood around here is definitely up-beat. Turns out we all love the bathroom, except of course, the birds, who are totally mortified by this new dark space. Ahh… Life is good.

Bixby Bridge and Post Ranch Inn

On the second day of Matt & Kerry’s visit, we drove down past the scenic Bixby Bridge through Big Sur and on to our destination – lunch at the Post Ranch Inn. The overcast skies didn’t dampen our enthusiasm for this teriffic lunch. I’m getting hungry thinking about that pork chop.

A favorite scenic spot for visitors to the Bay Area. Kelly and Kerry
At the Post Ranch Inn. Pork chop with peaches.
Ahi tuna with crispy wonton salad. Now, that's a tuna melt!
Fruit crisp - yum!! Chocolate caramel crème brûlée.
The restaurant at Post Ranch Inn. Bellies full.
