While driving home from dinner tonight at Luka’s Tap Room, I discovered that there’s a punk club one block from our loft. So, naturally, I grabbed my camera and went after some images.
Tonight’s alcohol-free event looks like so much fun I might have to go back after dark to shoot the dingy club in all its goth glory, because despite the tone of the meticulously screened poster, these charming and very polite kids just don’t seem threatening enough by the light of day.
I dunno, man, do these outfits count as “retro” they don’t look much different than what they were wearing in London 30 years ago. Maybe punks are the new trekkies.
