Ok, from time to time, I’m gonna post images that have significance to just a few people – mostly from my illustrious past. I apologize to those of you who find this stuff boring or adolescent or both. It has meaning to ME, and, well, that’s what this site is about, right?
So, here are David and Kalvin on board the Bad Ride. The question is, where will it take us? Do you guys remember where we were headed when this shot was taken? Here’s a clue – I think the year was 1984, and I’m pretty sure we all had a lot more hair than we do now… Does that help?
I remember riding around 5th (?) and Lincoln (in Milwaukee) with a ton of people crammed into this car – David, Carol, Bob, me, Steve and Jan Shallock, Tod Hammes and date, Jeff and Katie Nelson…… I’m wondering if David remembers which resturant we were at and who DIDN’T show up that evening.
P.S. Both David and Kevin look very cute! And your right, all of you had a lot more hair then.
If I remember right (and time is blurring these all together now), we dubbed this “The Summer That Time Forgot” because Dave, Pilarski and I were “in between” jobs at the time and spent most of it at the beach. So my guess is that we were on our way to Fisher Park. And YES! Dave and I would LOVE to have half of our hair back!
