Hot Afternoon in Tracy

on

Few things can motivate thedude to drive inland on a day like today. But a BBQ at Paul and Joanne’s home in Tracy is one of those things, especially if Paul’s lovely daughter and grand daughter are in town! So, despite the threat of 100-plus degree temperatures and a long scary drive, we braved the 50 mile journey to the edge of California’s Central Valley.

Thanks to our hosts the drive proved more than worthwhile. The stuffed pork loin was delicious – especially with the outstanding Hendry Cabernet. Kelly’s fruit salad was fabulous as was… well… everything! Great food, great wine and great people… Did I mention Joanne’s key lime cheesecake? Awesome. I think I may have overindulged a teensy bit.

Of course, it was very nice to meet you, Lisa and Amber. We do hope you’ll have time to stop by the loft while you’re in town!
